Judi Malone is a seasoned lobbyist who is known by her clients as a relentless crusader in support of their issues. Over the past 15 years, she has proven herself as an energetic and dedicated advocate for clients who bring their concerns before the Legislature.
Judi first got her feet wet at the Capitol as a college student working with the Legislature's Human Services Committee. Schooled in constituent services by the Senate Co-Chair of Human Services she also had mastered the mechanics of committee work, as well as issue research. This early foundation has given her a unique insight into the mechanics of state government, one she relies on to advance the interests of clients at Sullivan & LeShane.
Judi is well - known around the Capitol and possesses the ability to carry her clients' messages to leaders as well as rank and file legislators. Her high energy is best displayed around the Capitol and the Legislative Office Building when in pursuit of a tally on an important committee or floor vote. Judi's success in representing a wide variety of clients from trade associations to professional groups to social services agencies as well as independent business demonstrates her ability to get the job done. Her major focus at Sullivan & LeShane is managing issues before the Appropriations, Education, Finance, General Law, Human Services, Commerce and Aging committees. A Norwich native, Judi attended Quinnipiac College for three years before completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Eastern Connecticut State University.
Her interest and involvement in local politics has resulted in several successful democratic victories in her home town for a number of campaigns for state representative - one she steered through a difficult four-way primary and onto victory in the General Election - and in 2001 a campaign that resulted in the Democrats taking control of the newly aligned Norwich City Council.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Spirit of Broadway Theater in Norwich, Judi also is one of the driving forces behind Paws for a Cause, the effort to rebuild the aging Norwich dog pound with a new facility.
