Downie's extensive background in government relations and political

Working as a caucus policy analyst inside the Connecticut General Assembly, Tom researched and developed new public policy options and provided the key messages to support these options. Tom is skilled at finding the right messages to ensure a project succeeds beyond expectations.
As a political advisor, Tom worked with Leaders and members of the House Majority Caucus. In this capacity, Tom took on some of the toughest campaigns faced by the organization. His "find the win" mentality delivered consistent victories for two Connecticut Speakers of the House.

Tom earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut, and plans to complete a Master's Degree in Public Administration at the University of Connecticut.
